Via Infowars: NETHERLANDS REFUSES TO MANDATE FACE MASKS; SWEDEN SAYS THEY ARE ‘POINTLESS’

The Netherlands has decided not to mandate the wearing of face masks in public, citing the fact that there is no scientific evidence to suggest they are effective against the spread of the coronavirus.

“From a medical perspective there is no proven effectiveness of masks, the Cabinet has decided that there will be no national obligation for wearing non-medical masks” announced Netherlands Minister for Medical Care Tamara van Ark.

There’s also a well-written meta-analysis that comes to a similar conclusion – that masks are useless against coronavirus, influenza, and any similar virus:

There have been extensive randomized controlled trial (RCT) studies, and meta-analysis reviews of RCT studies, which all show that masks and respirators do not work to prevent respiratory influenza-like illnesses, or respiratory illnesses believed to be transmitted by droplets and aerosol particles.

Furthermore, the relevant known physics and biology, which I review, are such that masks and respirators should not work. It would be a paradox if masks and respirators worked, given what we know about viral respiratory diseases: The main transmission path is long-residence-time aerosol particles (< 2.5 μm), which are too fine to be blocked, and the minimum-infective dose is smaller than one aerosol particle.

The present paper about masks illustrates the degree to which governments, the mainstream media, and institutional propagandists can decide to operate in a science vacuum, or select only incomplete science that serves their interests. Such recklessness is also certainly the case with the current global lockdown of over 1 billion people, an unprecedented experiment in medical and political history.

Also, Bill Gates – a flaming liberal (but, not a leftist) and no fan of Trump – argues that schools should reopen, because the benefits to younger students outweigh the risks:

Bill Gates has sided with President Donald Trump in arguing for the reopening of schools in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, saying the ‘benefits outweigh the costs for younger students.’

The Microsoft founder, 64, rallied for schools to open in an interview with CNBC’s Squawk Box on Tuesday.

‘I’m a big believer that for young children, the benefits in almost every location — particularly if you can protect the teachers well — the benefits outweigh the costs,’ he said.

And let’s not forget the open letter to Trump, signed by hundreds of doctors, averring that the massive shutdown was far more harmful to people than covid itself:

More than 600 doctors signed a letter urging President Trump to end the nationwide coronavirus shutdowns and referred to orders issued by states that keep businesses closed as a “mass casualty incident” with devastating consequences.

The letter points out the negative consequences that doctors have observed since state governments started issuing their stay-at-home orders, including patients missing checkups with doctors, increases in substance abuse and alcohol abuse, and negative financial implications, according to Fox News.

“We are alarmed at what appears to be the lack of consideration for the future health of our patients,” the letter said. “The downstream health effects … are being massively under-estimated and under-reported. This is an order of magnitude error."

(Btw, doctors as a group don’t like Trump. Only 26% of them voted for him.)

Trump: always WRONG

With that hair… how could he be right about anything? Plus, his dad gave him a million bucks. Anyone that gets a million bucks can become a multi-billionaire and U.S. President. Obvious!

There seems to be a pattern emerging here. On everything from mask-wearing, to reopening businesses, to going back to school, data and analysis increasingly show that the Trump administration’s early decisions and instincts were correct. Yet every MSM source continually reports on the “ineptitude” of the “Trump response” – despite the fact that state and municipal leaders, not Trump, made most of the shutdown decisions, issued (or didn’t issue) mask guidance, etc.

I guess this is nothing new. The left-dominated MSM is full of crap. I just find the degree of their error extraordinary. How do you screw up so badly? It’s almost like… it’s on purpose. But what could be their motivation for literally being wrong about everything?

I can think of only one: if Trump says it, it must be wrong. Even if science, data, reason, and plenty of Trump-hating countries agree.

That is some serious TDS.

Are these the same people that conduct election polls? If so, maybe that explains why their crystal balls all exploded in Nov 2016. Confirmation bias is real.

I’m not suggesting that anyone stop wearing a mask. Like putting a Black Lives Matter sign in your yard, it doesn’t mean that you agree with what you’re doing, or think that it’s effective. Make up your own mind about the social costs of not wearing a mask (or not putting up a BLM sign) when the totalitarian Mob is watching your every move, convinced that you’re a moron and a degenerate if you don’t believe what you see on CNN.

I’m only suggesting that we all question what we’re being told, by everyone. Not just about covid, either, but about everything else you think you know. Make it a lifelong habit. Because you probably learned everything you know and believe from the same university professors, grade school teachers, pundits, newsmen, blogs, actors and celebrities, friends, family members and mainstream media that are now shouting in unison that masks – and black lives – matter.
